Winemakers play a vital role at E. & J. Gallo Winery in making us a global leader in the wine business. Crafting award-winning wines starts with close collaboration with other winery teams. Following are just a few examples of the cross-functional activities of our Winemaking team.
- Interact with Consumer Insights, Marketing and Sales to plan, develop and maintain wine styles.
- Consult with Grower Relations to maintain grape supply at four wineries.
- Lead winery Production team in on-site winemaking.
- Manage wine inventories and bottling in concert with Strategic Planning and Supply Chain.
- Evolve our wines and processes by introducing cutting edge techniques to our winery and our staff.
